巴西教授：渔业养殖或可解决人类食品短缺
　据巴西媒体报道，巴西圣保罗大学海洋研究所教授丹尼尔?爱德华多?莱莫斯日前在其一项研究报告中提出，可将发展水产养殖业作为解决人类食品短缺的重要途径。

巴西拟暂停水产品进口
2010年8月26日，巴西渔业和水产部监督秘书处发布了指令（PORTARIA No- 53, DE 26 DE AGOSTO DE 2010），有可能暂停水产品的进口，但同时又规定：如果在本条例正式公布之前，相关部门已经完善了进口渔业和水产品风险分析体系，则暂停进口的禁令将随之取消。

巴西削减冷冻沙丁鱼进口关税
据海外媒体报道，巴西海外商会(CAMEX)6月25日公布了最新的冷冻沙丁鱼进口关税，从以往的10%减少至2%。巴西发展、工业暨外贸部表示，新关税政策有效期将持续至2011年8月31日，在此期间，巴西将实施本地沙丁鱼捕捞禁令。

巴西渔业部门预测：当地罗非鱼产量明年翻番
