Obach takes MD seat at Skretting

NORWAY - Alex Obach has been appointed Managing Director at Skretting Aquaculture Research Centre.

Originally from Barcelona, Spain, Obach is a researcher and veterinarian with a PhD in pathology and immunology. He started working at Skretting in 1993 as a researcher, and holding the position as Manager of ARC’s Fish Health department.

Between 1993-2006 Obach also lectured at the University of Barcelona, and worked for two years as the leader of Marine Harvest Technical Centre. Obach lives in Stavanger, Norway.

Alex Obach succeeds Viggo Halseth, who will focus fully on his position as Managing Director for Business Group Skretting Trout & Marine Feed.
