Schering-Plough Animal Health Names Kasha M. Cox Territory Manager, U.S. Aquaculture

GLOBAL - Schering-Plough Animal Health Corporation has appointed Kasha M. Cox as Territory Manager for U.S. Aquaculture.

Cox is responsible for sales of AQUAFLOR® (florfenicol) Type A Medicated Article, a new-generation antibiotic premix expected to be licensed soon for use in channel catfish, as well as other aquaculture products in Schering-Plough Animal Health's R&D pipeline.

Cox has more than 20 years of experience in the U.S. catfish industry, where she was owner and president of Aqua Health Laboratories, a fish health consulting firm, and co-founder of the catfish industry's leading aqua health distributor. More recently, Cox worked as a fish health consultant for catfish farming operations and financial institutions in the Mississippi Delta.

Cox holds a B.S. degree in fisheries management from Mississippi State University, where she also served as adjunct research faculty member for the University's School of Veterinary Medicine.
